I spent the majority of this time reworking a couple of old scenes and experimenting with some vfx animation and shader effects. I have also been working on a scene which is taking quite some time to finish (which I will not be showing off in this post).


There is this one effect from Pokemon Black/White 2 which I found quite interesting and was able to successfully imitate with a shader. It appeared as a rather simple effect initially but the shader code I had to put together to achieve it turned out to be a bit of an undertaking:
